Dimethyl ether (DME) is a colorless, non-toxic gas with a slight ethereal aroma that can be liquefied for storage. It is an important clean energy source and chemical raw material, known as a "green alternative to liquid fuel gas."

Paint/Ink Industry: As a "high-boiling-point solvent," it is used in acrylic paints, polyurethane inks, wood coatings, etc. While dissolving resins (such as acrylic resins and nitrocellulose), it extends the drying time of paints and prevents film cracking or sagging.

Cleaning Agent Industry: Dipropylene glycol dimethyl ether can be used as an industrial oil stain cleaner (such as a machine parts cleaner), dissolving mineral oil, lubricating oil, and other oil stains. Furthermore, because it is miscible with water, it is easy to rinse after cleaning and leaves no residue.
