Methanol Product Introduction

Methanol is a colorless, transparent, and highly volatile basic organic chemical raw material and clean energy fuel.

Chemical formula: CH₃OH. It has high purity, low impurities, good solubility and stability, and is an important raw material for the chemical and energy industries.

Uses of methanol

I. Clean Energy Production

Can be used directly as fuel for boilers, kilns, and generators.

Used as an alternative fuel for automobiles and ships.

Cleaner combustion, lower emissions of soot, SO₂, and NOₓ.

II. Dimethyl Ether (DME) Production

DME can be produced by dehydrating methanol.

DME is an important clean energy source to replace diesel, domestic fuel, and aerosols.

III. Production of Fuel Additives such as MTBE

Methanol is a key raw material for the production of MTBE and TAME.

Used to increase the octane rating of gasoline and improve combustion performance.

IV. Methanol-to-Olefins (MTO/MTP)

Can produce basic olefins such as ethylene and propylene.

Widely used in industries such as plastics, synthetic fibers, rubber, and coatings.

An important process for replacing petroleum.

V. Methanol-to-Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Applications
