Project Background: The client plans to build an 18㎡ private home theater, hoping to achieve a better immersive viewing experience and solve the problems of echo and uneven sound pressure caused by the enclosed space. Solution: We selected 9mm flame-retardant polyester fiber acoustic panels (B1 grade) for the client, and adopted the following layout:
Large-area sound-absorbing panels were installed on the front and side walls to improve dialogue clarity.
A partial diffusion panel design was added to the rear wall to improve the sense of sound space.
Sound-absorbing panels were used in sections of the ceiling to reduce reverberation.
Actual Results:
Reverberation time decreased by 40%, resulting in clearer dialogue during movie viewing.
Low frequencies are no longer booming, and high-frequency harshness is significantly reduced.
