Acoustic Panels Application Cases
Project Background: The client plans to build an 18㎡ private home theater, hoping to achieve a better immersive viewing experience and solve the problems of echo and uneven sound pressure caused by the enclosed space. He also requires that the wall materials be safe, odorless, highly decorative, and easy to install.
Solution: We selected 9mm flame-retardant polyester fiber acoustic panels (B1 grade) for the client, and adopted the following layout:
Large-area sound-absorbing panels were installed on the front and side walls to improve dialogue clarity.
A partial diffusion panel design was added to the rear wall to improve the sense of sound space.
Sound-absorbing panels were used in sections of the ceiling to reduce reverberation.
Actual Results:
Reverberation time decreased by 40%, resulting in clearer dialogue during movie viewing.
Low frequencies are no longer booming, and high-frequency harshness is significantly reduced.
The spatial sound is more balanced, and the immersion is significantly improved.
The materials are odorless and can be used on the day of installation.
